El-Rufai leads in Kaduna

The results trick­ling in from Ka­duna State gubernatorial election show that the candidate of the All Progressives Con­gress APC, Malam Na­sir Ahmed El-Rufai is leading in major poll­ing units in Kaduna me­tropolis.

According to results an­nounced, El-Rufai has shot ahead of co-contestants in other parties as follows:
Results from Kawo poll­ing unit 031, APC scored 554 votes, PDP 09 votes, Tudun Wada polling unit 031, APC got 255, PDP 01, Kabala Kapuwa, APC got 673 votes, PDP 09, Tudun Nupawa, APC scored 286 votes, PDP 03 votes, Mad­awaki pu 022, APC got 546, PDP had 17 votes, Makarfi road, Kawo PU 029, APC 495 votes, PDP 21 votes.

Kachia town PU 009 , APC 274 votes, PDP 161 votes, kofar Sarki Badiko pu 009, APC 188 votes, PDP 17 votes, Ungwan Rimi pu 025, APC 207 votes, PDP 47 votes, Ga­basawa pu 023, APC 270 votes, PDP 31 votes, Un­gwan Sarkin pu 024, APC 360 votes, PDP 42 votes.
